STRUCTUS is a consulting engineering firm specializing in the structural design of buildings and special structures. Since its establishment in 1987, the firm has successfully completed many major projects in both the private and public sectors. Some of these projects have been published in Progressive Architecture, ENR (Engineering News Record), Proceedings for the 11th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering, Proceedings for the 2nd World Conference on Structural Controls, and “Structure” magazine.
STRUCTUS is experienced in design and analysis of all major structural systems, including the state-of-the-art base isolation and viscous damper energy dissipation systems used in our completed Kagoshima Air Terminal Seismic Retrofit in Japan, and in the San Francisco Opera House Seismic Retrofit Project.
