CALTRANS Transbay Terminal/Downtown Extension

STRUCTUS has been working on this $1.2 billion rail extension project from the existing train station at 4th Street/Townsend Street to the proposed Transbay Terminal at 1st Street/Mission Street. For 10% Design, we completed preliminary engineering and design for two segments of cut-and-cover tunnels at each end of the proposed Transbay Terminal and an additional segment of cut-and-cover tunnel on Townsend Street for the preferred alignment. We have recently completed the Townsend East Cut-and-Cover Tunnel segment for the 30% Design. Final Design is expected to commence in the near future.
