STRUCTUS provided structural engineering services, in collaboration with Middlebrook + Louie, for the Heritage Center, which is a 13-story mixed-use project. The Center includes retail stores, a Jazz Club/Restaurant on the ground floor, parking at the basement and second level, a roof terrace on the third floor and 80 residential units above the three-story “Podium”. STRUCTUS was responsible for the design of the lateral force resisting system, which includes post-tensioned slabs as diaphragms, and concrete shear walls supported on a mat foundation.
