New Public Safety Building

This new 300,000 sq. ft. facility will provide a new Police Command Center, police station, fire station, community center, and 128,000 sq. ft. parking structure. It is constructed of structural steel framing with concrete topping over metal decks. The primary seismic force resisting system is comprised of buckling restrained braces and the structures is founded on a concrete mat foundation. STRUCTUS provided special inspection services for concrete placement, rebar tagging, anchor bolt torquing, and structural steel material identification and welding inspection.
